Santa's Lap

I have a ton to catch up on, but I'm just going to start from today and work my way backwards. I can't believe how fast these holiday weekends seem to be flying by!

The twinados were kind of sick this weekend and teetered on being both mopey and out-of-control insane. Brent's parents were in town for a quick visit on their way down to Miami and the kids had a bunch of fun terrorizing them on Friday and Saturday. This morning, neither of them were feeling very good at all, but we managed to sneak them out of the house quickly to go see Santa at Bass Pro Shop.

I'm partial to the taxidermied reindeer in the background. Ain't nuthin says merry like a dead Rudolph. Klassy.

Anyway, neither of them hesitated even for a second and climbed right up on Santa's lap. Callie, of course, plunged her stalker cheek deep into Santa's beard. Then Wyatt exclaimed, "I want 1-2-3-4-5 presents!" as he counted them out on his fingers. Callie shyly asked for "Fairy light-up wings."

After they were done, Wyatt got down and screamed, "HEY SANTA! WATCH THIS!" as he proceeded to 'whip his hair back and forth' like Willow Smith. Yep. Santa looked confused and kinda chuckled. The crackhead wouldn't cut it out either and Brent pretty much had to drag the looned bobble-head away from Santa's chair. I'm sure we could safely bet money on the fact that Santa thought our little Wyatt was "special".

Sometimes, I wonder the same.

This made me laugh at loud :) So funny! Our boys are famous for loudly pointing out overweight people.

The boys do know about Disney, they are really excited. We're going to downplay it a bit till it gets closer.

Awesome!!!!I thought the height of the blog was the reindeer comment but I do say I haven't laughed so hard due to Wyatt and his madness.
