1. Wyatt calls Callie "Cawee" now; but she still refers to herself in the first person as "Coggie".
2. Every time someone leaves the house, whether it be Brent, myself, or visitors, the kids are VERY adamant about letting you know to, "Be careful for the ants!"
3. If the kids get in trouble for doing something they weren't supposed to do and are busted only by the evidence as opposed to being caught in the act, they say, "The Peoples did it!" I think it's precious that they won't tell on each other!
4. Every morning after Brent gives them breakfast, Wyatt comes running in to see me and tells me what he ate as he makes 'presenting' motions with his arms for each food he lists. I've tried to catch it on camera a couple times but have yet to be successful. It's sooooo cute!
5. The kids call their fingers, "neengas". To other people, "neengas" totally sounds like a racial slur which is SUPER embarrassing in public. I can't believe someone hasn't already called CPS on our seemingly racist parenting! The worst was when Callie bit Wyatt's "neengas" at the grocery store the other day. Good Lord! :)

A Real Housewife in Atlanta
On the days that Brent is gone, I'm too tired to catch up on blogging. And for the days that he's home, I am too busy running away from home to catch up on blogging. It's a vicious cycle and one that I'm hopefully about to break - starting right meow!
So, I decided to pack up the kids and tagalong with Brent today back to the ATL. We took the kids to the aquarium this afternoon and had so much fun! The kids were a little more aware of the sharks this time and how dark it was inside the aquarium so it made them a little more timid. I dig timidness. Wyatt usually scares the crap out of me with his fearlessness so it was a nice change.
I'm gonna try and catch up with the on-goings of last week in a day or two, but for now, here are some pictures of us today at the aquarium.

One down!
So... we've all been hanging pretty tight to the house and daddy used it as an opportunity to potty train the runts. He threw them out in the backyard and let the sun shine where it ain't used to shining!
Neither one of them had an accident when they were completely air-conditioned for two entire days and honestly, Wyatt peed on the potty so many times the first day, I actually thought he was going to beat Callie to the punch. We've gone through 3 boxes of bandaids. (Whatever works, right?)
On the third day, we tried big people underwear. Callie did perfect... not a single accident for three days in a row - but Wyatt missed a tink when he was having too much fun digging in the dirt. I must say, it's been his only accident so far, so he really is doing awesome!
This morning, we trusted Cal to try her princess underwear in the house. She was good most of the morning but then had an accident so we switched her to pull-ups. The pull-ups also have princesses on them just like her underwear and I told her not to peepee on the princesses or they will cry. So far, she hasn't had a single accident in them either - (knock on wood). Ha!
We had to make a quick run to the airport this afternoon and I put a potty in the van just in case.
(Can I just pause for a second, and THANK THE LORD FOR MY MINI-VAN!?!?!? I luvs it; I wanna marry it! I don't care how frumpy it makes me, but for a mom with little kids, it's heaven on wheels! Preach it girl!!!!)
Ahem.
Anyway, Callie asked to use the potty 4 times in the 15 minute trip and maybe peed 10 drops in total. It's not so cute to see a minivan slam on the breaks and dodge traffic to the closest pull-off all for the sake of teetee.
(In a sick way though, I'm still kinda sad that my baby girl is out of diapers.)
Maybe I need to push for #3?!?!

Tybee Island Lighthouse
On Saturday, we ventured over to Tybee Island for the first time since we've lived here and I can't believe how cute it is over there. It's a typical tiny strip beach town which is totally opposite of what we are used to on Hilton Head. We went over to the lighthouse and had the dumb idea of climbing it to the top with the kids. Brent and I ended up carrying them the whole way up and my legs were burning by the time we got to the top. Infact, they were so shakey that I didn't even trust walking around the balcony at the top! So, I just snuck a quick peek and went back down with Callie. So scary!

A Ditty a Day
Callie: "Boogahs, Momma!"
Me: "You have boogers?"
Callie: "Yes, Momma!"
Me: "No! You don't have boogers, silly girl!"
Callie: "Yes boogahs! Bown one."
Me: "You had a brown booger?"
Callie: "Yes!"
Me: "Where did it go? What did you do with it?"
Callie: "Cib (crib)...on Yepps."
(Yepps - the poor victim - is her stuffed lamb.)
Callie: "Cahggie love da ma paydohs!"
Wyatt: "Yeah! Me toooooo!"
Callie: "Eat da ma paydohs, Wywy!"
Wyatt: "No! No eat da paydohs, Cahggie!"
(I start running back to prevent playdoh eatage.)
Callie: (Already chewing) "Cahggie did!"
This was Callie's attempt at duplicating a parfait that my mom had made her earlier with blueberries and yogurt. She had crackers on the bottom, then tomatoes, and then the rest of her turkey wrap. It was revolting but she was so proud of herself that I had to take a picture of her masterpiece! Such a smart girl.
Wyatt's new favorite thing to do!
WyWy Harbin (... never Wyatt.)
