The weekend after Halloween was awesome. Brent took that Friday off and we really tried to use every minute to its fullest advantage and spend it together. We didn't have any plans at all and instead, just got in the car and went. We ended up taking the kids to a bunch of different stores to hit up the toy aisles to get ideas for Christmas.
We got a ton of ideas and the kids started zeroing in on their faves. I really enjoyed perusing the 75% off Halloween isles and stocked up on tons of Halloween junk that we don't need. I'll fill up a basket in two seconds in a 75% isle. I don't even care what it is, if it's a crazy good deal, it's going in the buggy.
Right after Halloween was over, I asked the kids what they wanted to dress up as for next Halloween. Wyatt immediately screamed, "
Spiderman!" which encouraged Callie to want to be a "
Spider princess!" Randomly, we found a
spiderman princess costume (I didn't even know that existed) for like 4 bucks. She wore it all day. In every store. A week after Halloween.

Anyway, the next day we let the kids dictate the schedule. Wyatt had been begging us to take him to Build-A-Bear so he could make another friend for the first bear he made. Callie picked out a bunny she named "Mindy" and Wyatt picked out a bear that looked exactly like his first one. He named it "
Gordo B". Seriously?
Gordo B?! You would think I smoked crack and drank heavily throughout my entire pregnancy.

After that, girlfriend felt the need to chow down at Olive Garden which was the best idea ever! They
lurve Olive Garden and if I could crawl inside one of the
portabello raviolis, I would. Plus, is there even a better salad on the entire planet? It's a tough call.

When we left, Mindy required a
seatbelt.

At the request of Thing 1 and Thing 2, we headed over to Toys R Us. Halfway there, I turned around and saw this:

He never ceases to amaze. He didn't want to take the stickers off to go into the store either but we finally convinced him to take the ones off his eyes so he could see to walk.
