Week In Pics

Wyatt has graduated from Pull-ups and is in big boy underwear now! He's doing such a great job! He's so proud of himself that he'll drop trow in two seconds to show his "big boy panties" to anyone willing to listen. Poor thing speaks girl because of his twin sister, and I haven't been teaching him any differently. Bad Momma. I need to work on 'man lingo' with the little dude before he gets picked on at school.

The other day, Wyatt got in Brent's face and whispered very softly, "Daddy, I have a swecwet (secret). I have a butt in my hole." I'm pretty sure it was supposed to be the other way around, but with Wyatt, you just never know.

This is a typical Wyatt face. He's been doing it since he turned 2. He talks to the side of his mouth sometimes and it only recently dawned on me to ask him why he talks like that. He told me that it's because he tries to make his mouth into the shape of a triangle when he talks. I'm telling you, this kid is from Mars. (When he colors, he puts a crayon behind his ear so he can look like Handy Manny.)

We are addicted to Shrinky Dinks up in this piece! My kids love them and ask to do them all the time. This past Saturday, we busted out the Cars Shrinky Dinks and Callie colored them best I had ever seen her color anything! She colored both cars appropriately and even gave Lightening McQueen his yellow streak down the side. I was so proud and impressed that I literally took more than 20 pictures of it.

Last weekend, we took the kids to Lowe's and to Michaels to do their crafting projects. While the crafts turned out just precious at both places, the kids loved making the rain gauges at Home Depot the best. They do a great job of picking crafts for the kids that use both tools and paints. Even Brent is looking forward to taking them back up there next time.
