But my big-footed, crazy toddler was over the moon about his new bed! Infact, he has been more than willing to go down for naps and doesn't put up a fight about bedtime at night either. For me, there has been one really nice benefit of the big boy bed - I get to snuggle up with him and read him a story every night before he falls asleep. It softens the blow of saying goodbye to the bed he came home to. Monday, April 12, 2010
Big Boy Bed!
We finally moved Wyatt into a big boy bed! He's been completely potty trained for well over a month and has never once had an accident since he ditched the pull-ups. He was starting to climb out of his crib to use the potty at night and I realized we had taken his crib as far as it was gonna go.
I teared up quite a bit as I was tearing down his crib. All I could remember was my perfect little baby boy sleeping in it and here I was, taking it down already. It felt like I was closing a chapter in his life and I hated every minute of it.
